My artwork has been crafted using a tufting gun and a variety of wool. It features numerous organic circles tufted in an array of wool colors, with the circles gradually increasing in size. In my art, my intention is to represent the essence of life and the interconnectivity of human experiences through a fusion of color and form. Each circle in the rug symbolises a unique individual, each with their own distinct experiences, stories, and perspectives. The multitude of colors used in this composition acts as a visual metaphor for the diversity of human experiences and emotions encountered throughout life's journey. The warm hues symbolise moments of passion, love, and joy, while the cool shades signify periods of tranquility, reflection, and growth. The circular shape further reinforces the concept of the circle of life, emphasising the continuous cycle of birth, growth, change, and renewal. Just as each circle in the rug is unique but interconnected, our lives are intertwined with one another, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of human existence. Through this artwork, I aimed to convey the beauty and complexity of life, celebrating the rich spectrum of experiences that shape our individuality while underscoring our shared journey within the grand circle of life.
